Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting (SISC) is looking for a full time I&C Engineer.

Responsibilities of this role will include developing various deliverables such as Instrument Indexes, Datasheets, Cable Schedules, System Architecture Drawings, electrical schematics, and electrical deliverables up to 480VAC, and more. You will also develop requisitioning documentation, technical bid tabulations, and supplier documents, and attend FAT & SAT for control systems. Responsibilities:
  • Performs I&C engineering tasks with direct oversight from senior engineers. 
  • Develops Instrumentation deliverables such as Instrument Indexes, Datasheets, Cable Schedules, Panel Layout & Wiring Drawings, Loop Drawings, Location Plans, etc. 
  • Develops automation deliverables such as System Architecture Drawings, I/O Lists, Alarm Lists, C&Es, Control Narratives, SIL Verification, etc. 
  • Develops electrical deliverables up to 480VAC such as Motor Schematics, Panel Schedules, Switchgear design, One-lines, Cable Schedules, etc. 
  • Attends studies and reviews such as HAZOP, LOPA, & Alarm Rationalization. 
  • Develops I&C Requisitioning Documentation, Technical Bid Tabulations and Supplier Documents. 
  • Attends FAT & SAT for control systems at manufacturer or plant site. 
  • Assists with field surveys to document existing conditions. 
  • Works with project teams, Clients, and Suppliers to resolve I&C technical issues. 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years in the oil and gas industry working as an I&C engineer. 
  • Ability to learn current automation technologies for DCS, SIS, FGS, including remote I/O for at least one platform. 
  • Ability to learn complete wiring design from instrumentation to processor. 
  • Ability to learn automation networking, with both fiber and copper media. 
  • Ability to learn industry codes and standards. 
  • Ability to learn trouble-shooting wiring, fiber optic, and power design at site. 
  • Ability to learn to inspect control systems both at factory and in field for adherence to project specifications. 
  • Able to work in a team environment with company, Suppliers, and Clients. 
  • Experience using MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel). 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline. 
  • Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen or Green Card holder).
